HL7LATAM born in INFOLAC 2011 in the month of May, in Guadalajara Jalisco Mexico, where representatives of the chapters of HL7 of Uruguay, Colombia, Chile, Brazil, Mexico and Argentina decided to create a newsletter and a common trilingual website with the objectives to disseminate, promote the HL7 standard, interoperability of ehealth in the region,
encouraging and supporting the creation of regional chapters. That same year the first number and website http://www.hl7latam.org/documentos/lanzamiento/
Since then we have been working uninterruptedly, with the support and collaboration of members of the various regional chapters and economic support HL7 Argentina.
In order to raise funds to continue our work we have decided for the 2015 request sponsors to support the website and publication.
